FAQ’s

Q. How do I get a site at the swap?

A. Bookings can be made through the Wagga Wagga Civic Centre.
e mail boxoffice@civictheatre.com.au (or use link under “swap meet enquiries”) or call 02 6926 9688.

Q. How much are sites?

A. Site fees vary by location and start from $40 for an outdoor site.

Q. As a stallholder do I need insurance?

A. YES. It is a condition of entry that each individual stall holder have their own liability insurance for any damage or injury that may be caused. A certificate of currency will need to be shown on entry to the swap.
Single day coverage can be purchased from insurance providors. (see below)

CHACA as swap organisers have a liability insurance policy however this only covers damage if a stall holder is injured or has property damage caused as a result of the event organisers.

Q. Why can’t insurance just be part of the cost of the ticket?

A. We have chosen to seperate insurance for several reasons including giving swappers a choice of their own insurance company, many swappers already having their own insurance policy not just for our swap but for others across the year, specific insurance best practice advice as well as the increased administration that including insurance would bring.

Q. Who can I obtain insurance coverage from ?

A. Who you purchase from is your choice. A simple internet search eg “market stall insurance” will reveal a number of providors. Be aware your certificate of currency may be sent online so ensure you have access to this when showing at the swap gate.

Q. Can I bring firewood for my outdoor site?

A. Yes however it cannot be treated wood as this emits toxic smoke. Please also be aware of fellow siteholders especially if you are near the inside halls - your fire may need to be extinguished if it is affecting others. ALSO be aware of the noise you make around the fire later in the night - many other siteholders are trying to sleep. Security is on site and may take action if any complaints are made.
